Grey divorce — the dissolution of marriages among adults aged 50 and older — is one of the fastest-growing demographic transitions in the Western world. Nearly one in three Australian divorces now involves someone over 50. The consequences for women are severe and well-documented: financial devastation, health decline, housing insecurity, social isolation, and a fracture of identity that sits beneath all of it. Yet no government, no institution, and no national framework has responded to this transition with anything close to the infrastructure built for comparable life events.
"The Grey Divorce Project by Recreate & RISE™ exists to close that gap — through research, advocacy, and the world's first identity-centred framework purpose-built for women navigating grey divorce."

Lisa Keevill is the founder of Recreate & RISE™ and creator of the Recreate & RISE Framework — the world's first identity-centred methodology purpose-built for women navigating life after grey divorce. After her own 30-year marriage ended in 2020, Lisa discovered there was no roadmap, no framework, and no structured support for the transition she was facing. So she built one. Today, through Recreate & RISE™, Lisa works with women across Australia and internationally through mentoring, membership, and advocacy — turning lived experience into a movement for systemic change.
